今世能得到善報的故事

Stories of receiving good karma in this life

In the Master's discourse on "Stories of Receiving Good Fortune in This Life," good deeds, in Thai, mean virtuous actions and a pure heart. When giving food to monks, we call it almsgiving. There are many ways to give alms in Buddhism, but three Buddhist practices are very important: almsgiving, keeping precepts, and meditation.

Some people asked the Master, "You were born into poverty, where did you get the money to give alms?"

The master replied: When making offerings, you don't need to have money to participate, and it's very cheap, you don't need to spend a penny. What you need is to uphold the precepts and cultivate meditation. The merit gained from these two things is more than that from making offerings. It's just that you laypeople have overlooked this. Laypeople always think that making offerings is easier, but upholding the precepts and cultivating meditation is a waste of time in the process of practice, so they feel that it is more difficult. In each kind of giving, you need to understand that as long as we are sincere or have a motivation to give, you will immediately receive merit, but the good results you receive are still not much. If you want to receive perfect good results, giving must have three aspects to be perfect.

"Giving" means giving. If you have a lot of money, give more; if you have little money, give according to your ability. If you have no money, then you can use your body to give.

【🌷Dharma Alms🌷】

The Buddha said: Of all offerings, the offering of Dharma is the highest!

Good living conditions are necessary! There must be a cause for giving alms; giving alms does not necessarily require money.

Do three good deeds every day, and you will reap good results.

Doing three good deeds every day is actually not difficult.

Speak kindly, see kindly, think kindly, do kindly. Make your thoughts and intentions kind, and prioritize the benefit of others in your body, speech, and mind. In fact, you can do a lot of good deeds throughout the day.

The most convenient platforms now are Facebook, Weibo, WeChat, WhatsApp, LINE, Viber, etc. Forwarding doesn't cost a penny. Sharing Buddhist teachings and information that benefits both oneself and others is a vast and boundless act of kindness, and doing good deeds every day is a great act of kindness.
