"Buddhist Day" is short for "Buddhist Festival", which is called "Four Fasting Days" in Buddhism.
Thailand has 49 Buddhist Days throughout the year, with the most important being Vesakamucchai on the sixth day of the third month of the lunar calendar and Asahamuchai on the first day of the eighth month. On these days, Buddhists go to temples to hold ceremonies, and killing, gambling, and prostitution are prohibited.
On Buddhist holy days, believers can offer incense, pray to Buddha, and fulfill vows. They can offer incense, pray for blessings, request Buddha amulets, make vows, fulfill vows, release animals, and make offerings to Buddha, Four-Faced Buddha, and Ganesha. Fresh flowers and fruits can be used as offerings. On Buddhist holy days, offering incense and making vows can bring blessings for everything to go smoothly, good luck to accompany you, prosperous business, abundant wealth, good health and peace, and the formation of many good relationships.
