[Introduction to the Sacred Relic]
This batch of sacred objects was blessed by high-ranking monks from Wat Khao Oo and Ajarn Pian at the invitation of Ajarn Nam of Wat Tang Sala. The blessings were complete before the amulets were released from the temple, making them incredibly powerful. The modern aesthetic of the black cable knit not only enhances their beauty but also improves their comfort and durability, making them ideal for both men and women.
This Rahu deity is especially effective in suppressing malicious people and warding off various disasters. Everyone experiences ups and downs in their fortunes. When things are going well, you will receive help from benefactors, while when things are going badly, you will encounter malicious people. These malicious people do many evil deeds, and you should not only avoid getting close to them, but also try to suppress them so that they cannot cause trouble. The Thai people suppress malicious people by wearing the "Rahu deity" amulet.
Thais believe that wearing a Rahu Buddha image can not only ward off malicious people, but also turn bad luck into good luck.
A solar or lunar eclipse is the greatest punishment that Rahu brings to the sun and moon gods. If a Rahu is consecrated on that day, its power will be dozens of times greater than that of an ordinary Rahu, possessing incredible power.
Rahu, the deity, is specifically designed to ward off malicious people and protect against the influence of the annual Tai Sui (Grand Duke Jupiter). The image of the celestial dog embracing the moon is a long-standing folk belief in Thailand. Those who have worshipped Rahu know that he is the nemesis of bad luck, specifically protecting against obstacles and bringing good fortune, making everything go smoothly. Rahu is immortal. Because he was betrayed by a malicious person, his lower body was severed, falling into space as a comet and meteor. Therefore, he vowed to devour all malicious people and informers in the world. He also possesses great power to protect homes and ensure peace.
According to legend, Rahu was originally a very upright and great god. However, one day, the sun god and the moon god complained to Vishnu that Rahu had violated the heavenly rules. In a fit of anger, Vishnu cut Rahu in half, which is why we always see Rahu as only having his upper body. But after investigation, it was found that Rahu was framed.
When Rahu learned of this, he was furious and swallowed the sun god and the moon god. Because of this legend, Rahu is said to deeply hate petty people and can help ward them off. Whenever people are down on their luck or plagued by troublesome individuals, believers pray to Rahu for help, asking him to drive away the petty people and for everything to go smoothly.
In Thailand, Rahu has two versions: "Eating the Sun" and "Eating the Moon". Eating the Sun Rahu means to be ruthless and eliminate all bad things; Eating the Moon Rahu means that those who try to hinder or harm you will be punished.
Ajarn Bian, a national treasure-level white-robed monk of the Khao O lineage in Thailand
The successive high monks of Wat Khao Or
Wat Khao Oo, the land of incantations and the path to magic. From ancient times, Wat Khao Oo has been considered the cornerstone of magic. Many masters of the Khao Oo lineage, including Ajarn Nam, Luang Phor Moon, Luang Phor Kong, Ajarn Koon Pan, and Ajarn Pian, among others, applied the magic they learned at Wat Khao Oo.
Ajarn Bian's introduction
Ajahn Pian is Ajahn Class (พระอาจารย์ปาน ปาลธมฺโม A student of Ajarn Pan. Born in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, he received his monastic vows in the Chauat district of Nakhon Si Thammarat. Later, through recognition, he became a bhikkhu (พระภิกษุ) at Wat Don Sala ( วัดดอนศาลา ) in Phatthalung Province. Besides studying magic, he also studied scriptures. He also learned herbal formulas that interested him, especially medicines for difficult-to-treat illnesses (Note: Thai โรคกระดูก can be translated as bone disease, or possibly a difficult ailment). He inherited all the knowledge, rituals, and long-standing healing formulas from Ajarn Pan. His use of glutinous rice and oil was also knowledge taught to Ajarn Bian by Ajarn Pan, and he was Ajarn Pan's last successor. He also observed a period of silence at Wat Khao O for nearly five years in order to achieve peace of mind and body.
When Ajarn Phien was young, he was able to practice all the rituals of the Khao Oo lineage, all the ancient medicine making, and the use of glutinous rice and glossy black sesame seeds. Now, the master is 80 years old and no longer makes medicine because the ingredients are becoming increasingly difficult to find and prepare, but he continues to use glutinous rice and oil.
Regarding magic, Ajarn Bian believes it is a mystical mechanism, a way to focus the mind and improve it. It allows us to contemplate what is "good," and also reveals what remains unresolved when we are unable to focus and experience confusion and conflict. Ancient medicine-making rituals, using glutinous rice and oil, allow everyone to experience mental focus and cultivate goodness. Through these rituals, impure thoughts (malicious ideas) are prevented from functioning; immersing oneself in the ritual can also wash away bad luck to some extent.
In addition, Ajarn Bian believes that magical rituals are not deceptions, so they should not be despised simply because one does not believe in them; they originate from people's faith. Anyone—ordinary people, important figures, or even those living in large houses in the city—whoever wants to succeed, in any aspect, can receive help through his assistance. But the key to everything is— " the heart."
