[Introduction to Luang Phor Sam Ann]
Luang Phor Sam Ang was born on March 19 , 2496 BE in Nakhon Pathom Province. He received Buddhist education at Wat Ban Phet from a young age. After being ordained at the temple at the age of 20 in 2516 BE, Luang Phor Sam Ang devoted himself to studying and researching Buddhism. After 7 years of study and research, he achieved great spiritual attainment.
Luang Phor Sam Ang was the chief disciple of Luang Phor Pern. In 2523 BE , due to the health reasons of his master, Luang Phor Pern, he took over as the acting abbot of Wat Ban Phra.
On June 30, 2545 BE (Buddhist Era) , the renowned abbot of Wat Ban Phra, Luang Phor Pern, passed away. His disciple, Luang Phor Sam Ang, became the abbot of Wat Ban Phra. Luang Phor Pern passed on the mantra for tattoo amulets to Luang Phor Sam Ang, who is famous for his powerful tattoos. These amulets are not only aesthetically pleasing but also imbued with magical power. Luang Phor Sam Ang was a disciple of Luang Phor Pern, and his tiger-head amulets are renowned, bringing prosperity, courage, confidence, fearlessness, and power to devotees. His gold, silver, and copper takrut (amulet tubes) inherited the same crafting method as Luang Phor Pern's tiger hair takrut, possessing the same magical power. His other amulets also show remarkable efficacy under Luang Phor Pern's influence. In recent years, they have become very famous throughout Southeast Asia, including Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, and mainland China.
