Regarding Dakun Hongtian Shen

Those familiar with Zedujin will have heard of this deity—"Dakunhong".
Information about Dakun Hong is extremely scarce, but devotees who have visited Wat Phutthaisawan (Ajarn Chu) must have seen this deity.
According to legend, Dakun Hong was the most skilled strategist and high priest under Zedujin (also the national advisor of the Zedujin dynasty). Legend has it that he could observe the night sky and predict the future, and his military strategies were as excellent as Zhuge Liang's. He calmly and rationally advised Zedujin. He was also the teacher of the benevolent father Zedujin Ramathe. It is said that Zedujin's twelve zodiac cities, zodiac wheel of fortune, and horoscope were all created by Dakun Hong.
【Introduction to Takun Hong (ต้าขุนโหน), the virgin Ajarn Song】
Ajarn Som's grandparents were both from Chaoshan, and his family was quite wealthy, running a business selling used luxury cars in Phetchaburi Province, southern Thailand. When he was young, it was during the time when Jatukam Hun was becoming increasingly popular throughout Thailand. Ajarn Som's uncle was a policeman in southern Thailand, and also a contemporary of Ajarn Sampet. Because of this connection, Ajarn Som was exposed to many stories about Jatukam Hun from a young age. However, he always strongly opposed the practice of spirit possession and related practices, believing them to be nothing more than deceptive tricks.
When Ajarn Som was 14 years old, he was rebellious and didn't want to study. His family had no choice but to send him to Luang Phor Wen, who was with Wat Tan Kong, to become a monk, hoping that Luang Phor Wen could teach him.

Back then, at Luang Phor Win's temple, his bed faced a patch of ground, and he was terrified every night. He felt like a ghost was calling to him at his bedside every night. He was extremely frightened and sought help from Luang Phor Win.
Because he had already been at the temple for two years and had been taking care of Luang Phor Win during that time, performing well and demonstrating exceptional talent in learning Pali, Luang Phor Win said to Ajarn Som, "You don't want to be disturbed by the temple while sleeping, and you don't want to be afraid, right? Then I'll teach you a spell today."
When Ajarn Som learned this magic trick, he was still terrified and dared not use it directly at the cemetery. Then Luang Phor Un brought him a long whip and asked, "Are you afraid of me or more afraid of the devil?" Ajarn Som had no choice but to bite the bullet and go to the cemetery to use the spell. After that, he never heard any sound again. It was also from that moment that he truly felt the charm of magic, fell in love with it, and devoted himself to its study and practice for the next ten years.
He had once returned to secular life during his time as a monk, but shortly after, Luang Phor Win fell seriously ill, so he became a monk again and took care of Luang Phor Win's daily life.
After Luang Phor Un passed away, Ajarn Som returned to secular life and was even specially hired by the Samakhom Association as a judge for Luang Phor Un's amulet project.
Another very important lineage is that of Ajarn Yenko.

One of the direct disciples of Yen Koo Luang Phor Tim, he taught Ajarn Som magic related to interpersonal relationships.
It's worth mentioning that Ajarn Yen Koo was also a mentor and friend of Ajarn Chu. The Luang Phor Tim powder added to Ajarn Chu's Jatukam was donated by Ajarn Yen Koo.
In 2557 BE (Buddhist Era), Ajarn Som frequently dreamt of an old man with a long beard and braid who told him a string of lottery numbers and instructed him to buy tickets according to those numbers. Ajarn Som bought tickets for several draws without winning, and he assumed it was a ghost playing a trick on him. He stopped buying tickets. However, the winning numbers in the next draw after he stopped buying tickets were exactly those same strings of numbers. At this point, Ajarn Som realized that the old man was definitely not an ordinary person.

Then one day, Ajarn Som suddenly heard a voice telling him to try drawing the talisman in this way. Ajarn Som could clearly see the shape of the talisman in his mind. The voice instructed him to burn the paper after drawing the talisman, and a miracle would occur in the sky. Ajarn Som, half-believing, drew the talisman as the old man instructed and burned it. Afterward, he found that the previously cloudy sky had suddenly cleared, and a solar halo had appeared in the sky. Only then did Ajarn Som realize that this person was definitely not a ghost, because a ghost could not possibly cause a solar halo to appear in the sky.
Ajarn Som then asked the old man, "Who exactly are you?"
The old man replied, "My name is Pahoratibadikunhorazhan Dakunhong."
When Ajarn Som learned of this, he resolved to study magic under Master Dakun Hong. Because Ajarn Som was already very wealthy, he was busy managing his business and only opened his services to a small group of Thais seeking his help at his own temple. Therefore, due to his family background and profession, Ajarn Som could not yet publicly share photos or demonstrate his magic techniques, including consecration and blessing ceremonies, or appear before a wider audience. However, a large number of Jatukam devotees in Thailand had already heard of and were paying attention to Ajarn Som.
Later, Dakun Hong began to teach his master more consecration and blessing methods, and also told Ajarn Som that he must build a Dakun Hong shrine and Dharma center.
As one of the few mediums who have served as a medium for Da Khun Hong, Ajarn Som learned in a conversation that the biggest taboo for a medium serving Da Khun Hong is that the donations and charitable funds received after making any sacred objects cannot be used for personal purposes. These funds must be used for the construction of Da Khun Hong's ritual sites, temples, and to help others.
The location for blessing Ajarn Som's amulets varies each time. Ajarn Som would communicate with Dakun Hong before blessing, and Dakun Hong would select the location, sometimes in a cave, sometimes at sea, and sometimes in a temple.
